During the course of hearing, it transpires that the SLP preferred by the petitioner against the order dated 07.01.2026 in CM(M) No.2410/2025, was dismissed by the Supreme Court vide order dated 16.03.2026. Further, on 19.03.2026, the following order was passed in CS 591/2019 pending before the District Judge-I, Patiala House Court, New Delhi. The same reads as under:

As can be seen, the aforesaid order records the statement on behalf of the respondent to the effect that it does not wish to cross-examine the petitioner's witness. Consequently, the opportunity to cross-examine the petitioner's witness was closed.

In view of the aforesaid development, the petitioner does not press the present petition.
