The petitioner seeks mandamus to the respondent to permit first spell of furlough, which has already been granted vide order dated 24.12.2025, so that petitioner may perform last rites of his mother and attend tervi on 20.02.2026.

immersion of ashes, the petitioner shall be immediately brought back to the jail; and during the travel from Delhi to Garh Ganga, the petitioner shall be taken in a jail van with guards and with no relative or friend in the same van. 3.
