The Petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking extension of the mandate of the Tribunal by at least 12 months for completion of final arguments and passing of Award.

It is submitted that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator has expired in August, 2023. It is therefore, submitted that the mandate be extended. 6.
Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection if the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended.

Considering the submissions made, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by one year from the date it expires i.e. August, 2023. 9.
The application is accordingly disposed of.
