on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 and 2. Mr. Mohinder Rupal, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 3 and Ms. Beenashaw N. Soni, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 4. 3.
Mr. Vansh Thakur, learned counsel for the petitioner, draws my attention to orders passed by this Court in several similar cases, whereby teachers in various colleges of Delhi University have been granted relief of the same nature. Reference in this connection may be made to a judgment of this Court in the case of Dr. Yogieta S Mehra v. Lt. Governor of Delhi & Ors. [W.P. (C) 13630/2024, decided on 27.09.2024], and Sh. Nagendra v. Lt. Governor of Delhi & Ors. [W.P.(C) 11096/2024, decided on 12.08.2024], which concern the very same college of Delhi University. 4.
Learned counsel for respondents do not dispute that the petitioner's case is covered by these orders. However, Ms. Soni submits that the arrears will be disbursed as soon as funds are released for this purpose from the respondent Nos. 1 and 2. It is the case of Mr. Dhingra that the amount has already been released to the College. 5.
In similar circumstances, the Court in the case of Dr. Yogieta S Mehra [Supra] directed the Principal of the College and the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi ["GNCTD"] to work out the modalities for releasing the arrears of pay of the petitioner, and to do the same within three months after the decision is taken.
6.
Following the same order, it is directed that the Directorate of Higher Education, GNCTD and Principal of the College will work out the modalities in the present case within three weeks from today, and release the arrears to the petitioner within three months thereafter, alongwith a The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
proper computation, failing which the amount will carry interest at the rate of 10% per annum thereafter.
