The instant petition is for the following reliefs:- <a) issue a writ of certiorari, or any other appropriate writ or direction quashing impugned letter dated 6.1.2026 as well as the Provisional Rent Assessment Report dated 24.6.2025 issued by Respondents. b) issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondents No. 1 to 3 to issue No Demand Certificate (for pension) in respect of House. No. 67 Block H, Type 1, Kali Badi Marg, New Delhi, in the interest of justice; c) pass any other or further order as this Hon 'ble Court may deem fit and proper.= 2.

The petitioner is a Government servant and was allotted accommodation bearing no. H-67, Kali Bari Marg, New Delhi [said property]. relative to stay at the said accommodation for a few days while availing medical care in Delhi. It is claimed that the said relative was not a regular visitor of the subject premises 3.

Respondent no. 1 has issued the impugned 8Provisional Rent Assessment Report9 dated 24.06.2025 with respect to the said accommodation indicating dues of Rs. 88,0481/- (Rupees Eighty-Eight Four Hundred and Eighty-One only). Thereafter, vide impugned letter dated 06.01.2026, the concerned authority has been requested to recover the said alleged outstanding dues. Further, as per the petitioner, his request for 8NoDues Certificate9 for the purpose of his pension has been rejected on the said ground.

The petitioner submits that he has already filed an appeal dated 20.11.2023, against the cancellation of allotment and the same is still pending for consideration.

In view thereof, let the Appellate Authority to decide the petitioner9s appeal within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of the order passed today.

In the meantime, no precipitative steps shall be taken against the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant petition stands disposed of along with the pending application.
