On the previous date, the Court had passed the following order: "1. This writ petition, inter alia, seeks a direction to the Respondents to consider the Petitioner's claim for appointment as Assistant Director (Technical) in Other Backward Classes category with Respondent No. 2.
2. The grievance of the Petitioner arises from the alleged nonimplementation of Paragraph No. 31 of the judgment rendered by this Court on 4th August, 2021 in W.P.(C) 132/2021, which reads as follows: "In view of my above discussion, the impugned result notice dated December 24, 2020, insofar as the selection of the respondent Nos.3 to 12 is concerned, the same is held as illegal. The selection of the respondent Nos.3 to 12 is set aside. Consequently, their appointments are also set aside. The respondent No.l] is within its right to prepare a fresh selection list for filling up the ten posts / vacancies which now arise in view of this order, as per the selection criteria evolved by it and then proceed accordingly. The writ petition with regard to respondent Nos.l3 to 17 is dismissed." 3.

Supreme Court. He states that the challenges now stand dismissed and the decision has attained finality. He, therefore, seeks a short accommodation to place on record the status of compliance with the directions contained in the said judgment.

It was Mr. Aditya Singla, counsel for Respondent No. 2, on instructions, submits that the fresh selection list from the pool of available candidates who were interviewed for the post of Assistant Director (Technical) pursuant to Advertisement No. DR-02/2019 shall be finalized within a period of three months.

In light of the foregoing statement, Mr. Shanker Raju, counsel for the Petitioner, submits that he does not wish to press the present petition at this stage and seeks liberty to approach this Court afresh in the event the Petitioner's grievance remains unredressed. Accordingly, he seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty as aforesaid. 4.
Leave and liberty as prayed for, are granted. 5.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
