The present petition was filed seeking following relief: "A. Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondent Banks to take all necessary and corrective steps to immediately remove the wrongful classification of the Petitioner as a Non-Performing Asset (NPA)/Red Flag/Fraud and ensure that the it is restored to its rightful status in compliance with the approved Resolution Plan and applicable laws;

B. Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondent Banks to clear all charges/loans appearing as outstanding against them, which were settled by way of the Resolution Plan and issue NOCs;

Respondent Banks to update the report being sent to credit rating databases like CERSAI, CIBIL and CRILC, such that the debts currently being shown as outstanding are cleared; and/or"

Mr. Naginder Benipal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that prayers in Clauses A and B stand satisfied during the pendency of the writ petition.

However, Mr. Rout, learned counsel for the respondent no.5/PNB submits that even prior to the filing of the writ petition i.e. on 29.08.2024, the NOC had been issued.

Therefore, there is no outstanding against the account of the petitioner and NOC stands issued by the respondent bank. 5.

In view of the above, the present petition alongwith pending application is disposed of with direction to the respondent bank to update the relevant financial records of the petitioner including CERSAI, CIBIL and CRILC in accordance with the Rules and RBI Guidelines. 6.
