This petition has been filed by the Petitioners seeking following reliefs:

"(a) issue an appropriate direction(s) and order(s) in the nature of writ of mandamus in favour of petitioner no.1 and 3 and against the respondents no.1 to 6 and be directed them to protect the petitioners no.1 to 3 and from the atrocities of the respondents no.8 to 11. (b) pass an appropriate order or direction to respondents no.1 to 6 for appropriate legal action against the respondents no. 8 to 11 and their associates."

Learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of State and submits that the mobile numbers of the Beat Constable and SHO concerned will be furnished to the Petitioners on which they are at liberty to call in case of any threat and/or emergency.
