The present petition seeks directions to the respondents viz. that the eviction petition filed by the petitioner under Section 22(2) of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007 be decided expeditiously by the respondent no.2 and that till the disposal of aforesaid eviction petition, respondent no.3 be directed to ensure the safety, security and protection of the petitioner.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that grave and severe prejudice and hardship has been caused to the petitioner on account of the actions of the respondent nos.4 to 8 inasmuch as the respondents have been harassing the petitioner with an ulterior motive to grab the property of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. It is further submitted that since it has come to the knowledge of respondent nos.4 to 8 that a complaint has been filed before the respondent no.2 by the petitioner, the petitioner is not only being subjected to various threats and inimical actions, but also being pressurized to withdraw the complaint by the said respondents.

Considering the aforesaid circumstances, the respondent no.2 is requested to decide the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months from today.

The respondent no.3 is also directed to ensure safety, security and protection of the petitioner till disposal of the eviction petition which is pending disposal before the respondent no.2.

The aforesaid directions are being issued in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case.
