Present

writ petition has been filed challenging the order/memorandum dated 06th-09th November, 2015 debarring the petitioner from appearing in examinations for two years. During the pendency of the present writ petition, petitioner vide letter dated 12th February, 2016 requested the Vice-Chancellor, Delhi University, to allow him to appear in the back papers scheduled for April-May, 2016. Mr. Mohinder J.S. Rupal, learned counsel for respondent-University of Delhi, on instructions, states that on humanitarian grounds, the University is willing to allow the petitioner to appear in the examinations on the basis of his application dated 12th February, 2016.

In view of the aforesaid statement, which is accepted by this Court, petitioner is permitted to appear in the examinations scheduled for AprilMay, 2016. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition is disposed of. Order dasti.
