This petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the DG BSF to release benefits of ex-gratia compensation in favour of the petitioner as stipulated under Offi ce Memorandum dated 21.04.2011 and Office Memorandum dated 07.06.20 17 issued by the Respondent No. 1 i.e. MHA along with 9% interest from the date of disability, in the light of the judgement passed by the Hon'ble Delhi High Court dated 10.12.2025 IN W.P (C) NO.
4042/2025, TITLED KALU RAM VS. UNION OF INDIA."

attention to the judgment of this Court in the case of Kalu Ram v. Union of India & Ors., 2025:DHC:11188-DB wherein this Court while considering an identical issue has in paragraph 10 stated as under:- "10.
Accordingly, we direct that ex gratia compensation, in terms of the CCS (EOP) Rules, be disbursed to the petitioner positively within two weeks from today, failing which the said amount shall carry interest @ 12% per annum till the date of actual payment."

Appropriate shall be the respondents consider the petition as a representation and keeping in view the judgment given by this Court and also the medical record of the petitioner, consider the prayer of the petitioner for grant of ex-gratia compensation, within 12 weeks from today. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any order to be passed, he can approach the Court in accordance with law.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
