The present petition was filed by the father (hereafter 'the father') of the girl child (hereafter 'the girl').

2.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent has handed over the status report, which is taken on record.

The girl has been traced and recovered.

4.

We have extensively interacted with the girl as well as her father (complainant) in chambers.

It appears that there were certain internal family differences between the girl and the father, and the girl had left home.

Both the girl as well as her father have assured the Court that they would mutually endeavour to resolve all their differences. The girl has expressed her desire to continue her studies and the father assures us that he would take all the necessary steps to facilitate the same. In view of the aforesaid, the girl has expressed her desire to go with her father. Accordingly, the custody of the girl is handed over to her father in Court.
