This petition has been filed with the following prayers: <It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon9ble Court may graciously be pleased to:- b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent to Upgrade the Navik (AE/AL/AR) Aviation Branch Enrolled Personnel including Petitioners herein from 8Y9 Group to 8X9 Group.

c) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondents to extend the benefit of Technical Pay of Rs 3600/- for all Aviation Cadre Enrolled Persons of (Navik to Pradhan Adhikari (AE/AL/AR) Branch as per the recommendation dated 30.08.2016.

d) Issue any other suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon9ble court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case in the interest of the Petitioner. e) Allow the petition of the petitioners with costs.= 2.

petitioners, we are of the view that in the facts of this case, it shall be appropriate that the respondents shall treat this petition as a representation, to be decided by the Director General of the Indian Coast Guard, keeping in view the documents which have been annexed along with the writ petition within a period of eight weeks from today.

The decision taken shall be conveyed to the petitioners. 4.

If the petitioners have still any grievance, they shall seek such remedy as available in law.

The petition is disposed of.
