The present Petition has been filed inter-alia seeking the following prayers:

"A. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other directing appropriate Respondent No.l to 6 to protect right to life and liberty of petitioner and her son namely Master Ruvaan Malik which is at stake at the hands of respondents no.7 to 10; and/or B. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing respondents no.l to 6 to provide adequate security to petitioner and her son namely Master Ruvaan Malik, with immediate effect so that the respondents no.7 to 10 may be prevented to act upon arbitrarily in manner whatsoever; and/or"

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that although, an FIR has already been registered on 06.10.2023 at PS Patel Nagar, there is a fresh threat to the life of the Petitioner.

4.1 Learned Counsel for the Petitioner further draws the attention of the Court to Annexure P-7 which is a complaint dated 08.02.2024 made in respect to an incident that occurred on 07.02.2024. Relying on the stamp of the Police Station on the said complaint, learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that although, a complaint was lodged, no details of Protection Officer and Beat Constable were provided to the Petitioner. 5.

Issue Notice.

Learned Counsels appearing for the Respondents accept notice. 7.

With the consent of the parties, the matter is taken up for hearing and disposal.

Learned Counsel for Respondent Nos. 7 to 10 submits that there are mediation proceedings pending and that the complaint is essentially a result of matrimonial dispute, inter-se between Respondent No.7 and the Petitioner.

Learned Counsel appearing for the learned Standing Counsel for the State submits that names and contact numbers of Beat Constable, Senior Inspector and a woman Sub-Inspector of PS Paschim Vihar, West were provided previously to the Petitioner, and are being provided once again today.

Learned Counsel further submits that all grievances of the Petitioner will be investigated in accordance with law.
