The present writ petition seeks a direction to the Respondent to grant the Petitioner financial upgradation under the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme1 in the pay scale of ₹9300-34800 with Grade Pay of ₹4800 (pre-revised) with effect from 13th June, 2018, as granted to other similarly placed employees by order dated 17th April, 2021. 2.
It is submitted that while other similarly situated employees have been granted the aforesaid upgradation, the Petitioner has been denied the same for arbitrary reasons. Reliance is also placed on the communication dated 17th February, 2025 issued by the office of the Principal District and Sessions Judge (HQ), Delhi, informing the Petitioner that the matter 1 "MACP"

regarding grant of MACP benefit was under consideration before the MACP Screening Committee. In this regard, the Petitioner had also submitted a representation dated 23rd December, 2024; however, no decision thereon has been communicated to him till date.

In light of the foregoing, reserving all the rights for the Petitioner, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondent to inform the Petitioner of the decision on his representation dated 23rd December, 2024 within a period of four weeks from today.

In the event the Petitioner still remains aggrieved, he shall be at liberty to avail appropriate remedies, in accordance with law. 5.
Disposed of, along with pending application.
