% 11.01.2017 By this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has prayed that respondent no.2 be directed to disclose the name and designation of the officer of Delhi Zonal Unit, who had recorded the statement of Parasmal Lodha under Section 50(2) and (3) of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (hereinafter called as 'the PMLA'). Petitioner was arrested in ECIR/CEZO/19/2016 dated 19th December, 2016 registered by the Directorate of Enforcement, Zonal Office at Chennai, for money laundering under the provisions of the PMLA. Petitioner was arrested at Chennai.

During the investigation of the said case, remand application of the petitioner was decided at Chennai, inasmuch as, investigations are carried out at Chennai itself. The statement of Parasmal

Lodha under Section 50 (2) and (3) of the Act forms part of the said proceedings in which petitioner is one of the accused. In view of above, I am not inclined to entertain the present writ petition and the same is dismissed accordingly. Dasti.
