These applications have been preferred in WP (C) 1640/2025 and WP (C) 2327/2025, which have already been disposed of by this Court on 11 February 2025 and 24 February 2025. 2.

The grievance of the applicants/petitioners was that they were not being considered for deployment with the High Commission of India, Dhaka, Chittangong, Rajshahi, Khulna and Sylhet, on the ground that they would be entitled to promotion within the next two years. Challenging the said decision, the applicants had filed WP (C) 1640/2025 and WP (C) 2327/2025, which were disposed of, as noted, by orders dated 11 February 2025 and 24 February 2025. In the said orders, a Coordinate Bench of this Court, while expressing a prima facie view that, if the applicants were willing to forego their promotion, their cases for re-deployment may merit reconsideration, directed the respondents to take a fresh decision on the petitioners' applications. Even while doing so, however, the Court made it clear toward the conclusion of the orders that it was not expressing any opinion on the petitioners' claims for posting abroad and that the claims would be considered by the respondents on their own merits. 3.

As no order was being passed by the respondents, the petitioners have moved the present applications before this Court, seeking a direction to the respondents to include their names in the list of candidates for deployment at HCI and AHCI Bangladesh, which exercise is stated to be commencing on 5 April 2025. 4.

communicated, to his clients last night, identical orders in Kailash Chand Gurjar and Ors v UOI1 and Sudhanshu and Ors v UOI2, wherein the applications were rejected.

It is clear that the petitioners would now have to challenge these orders if they are aggrieved thereby.

In the face of these orders, the prayers in these applications cannot be granted.

Reserving liberty with the petitioners to take steps in accordance with law, these applications are disposed of as having become infructuous.
