This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce Ms. Fouzia, the daughter of the petitioner.

Pursuant to our order dated 27.02.2026, Ms. Fouzia has appeared before us along with respondent no. 2. she got married to respondent no. 2, she wishes to go back to the custody of her father, that is the petitioner herein. 3.

We have counseled Ms. Fouzia and respondent no. 2. However, as Ms. Fouzia is a major, aged about 25 years, she is free to decide with whom she wishes to reside.

Accordingly, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. The same is disposed of.
