The present petition has been filed by Petitioner/Detainee Reena through Pairokar under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita seeking issuance of writ in the nature of habeas corpus seeking the release of the Petitioner illegal detention.

The Petitioner was arrested on 21st May, 2023 and FIR 121 of 2023 was filed by PS Crime Branch, Delhi under Section 21 of the NDPS Act. This FIR later culminated into chargesheet registered under Sections 21 and 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985 and Section 78 of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015. 4.
The Petitioner has moved various bail applications both before the Special Judge, NDPS as also before the High Court. 5.
