During the pendency of the present Appeal, and with the sincere efforts of the learned Mediator, a Settlement Deed dated 17.11.2025 ["Settlement Deed"] has been executed between the parties. The said Settlement Deed has been signed by the parties as well as their respective learned Counsel.

A copy of the Settlement Deed has been forwarded by the learned Mediator.

Both parties are present before us, along with their respective learned Counsel and pray for the disposal of the present Appeal in terms of the said Settlement Deed.

The Respondent has handed over a demand draft of Rs. 5 lakhs drawn in favour of the Appellant, which has been duly accepted by her.
