The Petitioner, by way of CM APPL. 7907/2026, seeks withdrawal of the present writ petition, which challenges Office Memorandum1 dated 24th November, 2020 whereby the Petitioner's post was redesignated from "Editor" to "Publication Assistant". The application is premised on a subsequent OM dated 23rd January, 2026 indicating that the Respondents have decided to withdraw the impugned OM and restore the Petitioner's earlier designation, subject to ratification by the Governing Body. 2.
