Mr. Anuj Aggarwal, Additional Standing Counsel for Respondents No. 3 to 7, has handed over a copy of communication dated 04th October, 2024, and the same is taken on record. The said communication reads as follows:

"Reference is made to your letter bearing no.

ADM/C/Enemy Property/Court Matter/2024/3612 dated 30/09/2024 whereby current status of the captioned property was sought. It is pertinent to mention that our office vide letter no. CEPI/DEL/17/01/2022/491 dated 03.07.2024 has requested to identify and verify the captioned property The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 09/10/2024 at 14:47:03

to which your have replied that the requisite information is still awaited.

Since you have sought the current status of the captioned property, it is to state that the property in question is not vested in Custodian of Enemy Property for India as on date. However, in future on the basis of certain documents it is found that enemy interest in involved in the captioned property then steps in accordance to the Enemy Property Act, 1968 would be taken.

The present mail is issued with the approval of ACEP." 2.

In view of the foregoing, the property bearing No. 1436-37, Faiz Gang, Bahadurgarh Road, Delhi-110006, is no longer vested in custodian of enemy property for India. Accordingly, the first relief sought in the present writ petition stands redressed.

In light of the above development, the Sub-Registrar shall now consider the relinquishment deed purportedly executed in favour of the Petitioner by his sisters. The same shall be considered in accordance with law, subject to Petitioner fulfilling all the necessary formalities. 4.
