Pursuant to the order dated 27.11.2018, a status report has been filed by the SHO, PS: Janakpuri stating inter alia that the parents of the victim were traced in District West Champaran, Bihar and were accompanied with the police officials to Delhi, where they had appeared before the Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) on 03.12.2018 for award of compensation in terms of the judgment dated 26.07.2018. 2.

A separate report of the Member Secretary, DSLSA is handed over wherein it has been stated that in compliance of the directions of the Court, a meeting of the District Victims Compensation Committee was convened on 06.12.2018 and the said Committee has awarded compensation to the tune of Rs.5 lakhs to the parents of the deceased. The said status report is taken on CRL.A. 125/2003

record. We are informed that a sum of Rs.2.5 lakhs each has been directed to be released in favour of the parents and needful shall be done within one week.

In view of the aforesaid report, which shows compliances have been made of the judgment dated 26.07.2018, nothing further survives for consideration.

File be consigned to the record room.
