This public interest litigation petition expresses concerns regarding non-compliance or delayed compliance of the orders passed by the Courts by the State and its instrumentalities.

Accordingly, a prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to the respondents to frame comprehensive guidelines to be followed by all Government departments for ensuring time bound compliance with the orders passed by the Courts.

The orders passed by the Courts are to be necessarily complied with unless such orders are stayed or rescinded or varied by higher forums/courts, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. however as to what mechanism for ensuring compliance of the orders should be in place, lies in the exclusive administrative realm of the Government. 4.
Accordingly, while expressing our concerns relating to delayed compliance/non-compliance of the orders passed by the Court, we dispose of this writ petition with the observation that it is for the Government and its instrumentalities to evolve any such robust mechanism which ensures compliance of the Courts.
