This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking directions to the respondents to release the petitioner‟s pension, disability pension, medical board-out disability compensation, gratuity, exgratia and other retiral dues forthwith, along with interest, for the delay.

The learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, on instructions, submits that the petitioner has already been released due pension along with gratuity and Central Welfare Fund and General Provident Fund. petitioner for ex-gratia is concerned, he submits that it is under consideration and a final decision thereon shall be taken within a period of eight weeks from today.

The learned counsel for the respondents produces statement and pension register. The same is taken on record. Let a copy thereof be supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioner by way of an electronic mode.

In case, the petitioner has any grievance on the above statement regarding non release of the amount, the learned counsel for the petitioner shall inform the learned counsel for the respondents about the same and the respondents shall take adequate steps to ensure that the payments, if not released, are released forthwith. 7.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would also be entitled to interest on the delayed payment. The respondents shall consider this claim of the petitioner as well and pass a speaking order thereon within a period of eight weeks as prayed for. In case the decision taken by the respondents is adverse to the interest of the petitioner, it shall be open to the petitioner to challenge the same in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the petition stands disposed of along with pending application.
