HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANOJ KUMAR OHRI

% 24.12.2025 1.
At the outset, learned APP for the State refers to the order dated 07.11.2024, wherein it was noted that the death of the appellant stood verified and a verification report in that regard had been placed on record. On that date, learned counsel appearing for the appellant had submitted that the legal heirs of the appellant would seek leave of the Court to continue with the present appeal. However, pursuant thereto, no such application has been filed. In fact, none has appeared on behalf of the appellant on the last two dates of hearing, including today. It thus appears that the legal heirs of the appellant are no longer interested in pursuing the present appeal. 2.
In view of the aforesaid, the proceedings in the present appeal stands abated and it is disposed of accordingly.
