The impugned order reads thus:

"M.A. No. 125/2025 The present M.A. has been filed seeking preponement of date of hearing.

Issue notice to the respondents.

List on 12.02.2025."

12 February 2025 is incidentally today. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that this is a legal aid matter. Essentially, in that view of the matter, we are frankly unhappy that such a petition has KUMAR 20:24:40 WP(C) 1726/2025

been filed. It is the responsibility of the counsel who appear in legal aid matters to advise their clients appropriately. Had this petition not been a legal aid petition, it would have invited exemplary costs. 3.

It is obvious that such a petition is a complete abuse of the process of the Court.

The petition is accordingly dismissed.
