This is a petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with section 528 of BNSS seeking the following substantial prayer: "Direct the respondent No. 1, 2 and 3 to extend full protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners and ensure their safety and security by issuing a Writ of Mandamus;"

In the present case, the petitioner nos. 1 and 2 are husband and wife and they married each other on 23.12.2024, after attaining the age of majority. Both the petitioner nos. 1 and 2 appear though video conferencing mode and state that they are happily married, however respondent Nos. 4 to 23 being the family members and relatives of petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 are interfering in the matrimonial bliss of the petitioners. 4.

For the said reasons, Issue notice. Mr. Aniket, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of Mr. Rahul Tyagi, learned ASC, appearing on behalf of the respondent nos. 1 - 3 and states that it is the duty and responsibility of respondent Nos. 1 - 3 to ensure the personal security and liberty of each and every citizen of the country and the petitioners are no exception. 5.

The mobile number of the petitioners has been shared with the police officials of Police Station Vijay Vihar, Delhiand the concerned Beat Officer's mobile number has also been shared with the petitioners, who shall ensure that every call of the petitioner regarding their safety concern shall be duly be addressed and appropriate action taken thereupon. 6.

With these directions, the present petition, along with any pending applications is disposed of.
