The Petition under Section 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950 read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as 'B.N.S.S.') has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner, Amandeep Singh Batra seeking quashing of Summons/Notices dated 02.02.2025 and 06.02.2025, issued by Police Station Vasant Kunj The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. It is submitted that the Petitioner can be summoned by the Police only under Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as 'Cr.P.C.') (now Section 35 of B.N.S.S.) or under Section 160 Cr.P.C., which is now Section 179 of B.N.S.S., 2023. However, none of these circumstances justified issuance of these Notices and that too, on a Complaint dated 30.09.2024. It is submitted that there is a chequered history of earlier cases between the parties. It is an endeavour only to harass the Petitioner and thus quashing of the aforesaid Notices, is sought. 5.

Learned ASC for the State, submits that this Complaint dated 30.09.2024 already stands closed on 09.02.2025. 6.

In view of the submissions made, nothing more survives in the present Petition, which is hereby dismissed.

The Petition is disposed of accordingly. Pending Application, if any, also stands disposed of.
