The petitioners claim to have married each other on 14.02.2026 at Arya Samaj Mandir, Delhi. They have filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, seeking protection against apprehended threats from the family of petitioner No. 2.

Alongwith the petition, a copy of a certificate issued by the Arya Samaj Mandir certifying the solemnization of the marriage on 14.02.2026 has been annexed. The petitioners have also annexed a copy of marksheet showing the date of birth of petitioner No. 1 as 03.04.1998. A copy of the mark sheet of petitioner No. 2 and her Aadhar Card has been handed up W.P.(CRL) 598/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. in Court, and are taken on record, which show her date of birth as 14.02.2002. Both the petitioners have, therefore, attained majority. 3.
In view of the apprehended threat, Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel, states that the telephone number of the beat constable and the concerned SHO will be provided to the petitioners to enable them to contact in case of any exigency.

No further orders are sought in this petition, the petition is thus disposed of.
