Learned counsel for the appellant states that the appellant has expired on 15.01.2023. It is noted that on 03.01.2024, noticing the absence of the appellant, court notice was issued to the appellant through the concerned I.O. as well as his counsel.

A status report has been handed over and taken on record. As per the status report, during enquiry from the Office of the Sub Registrar (Birth & Death), the appellant's death certificate has been found to be genuine. An enquiry was also conducted from the family members and neighbours, who have also stated about appellant's death.
