The petitioner seeks directions for expeditious disposal of Sessions Case No.125/2022 arising out of FIR No. 227/2022 registered at Police Station Jyoti Nagar, District North East, Delhi, under Sections 3(1)(p)/3(1)(q)/3(1)(r), pending adjudication before the Court of Additional Sessions Judge-02, Shahdara District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

I am informed that the proceedings are pending at the stage of arguments on charge and are next listed on 17.04.2026. for the petitioner states that the matter has remained at this stage for an inordinate period of time.

Mr. Tarang Srivastava, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, submits that the delay is not on account of the prosecution and assures the Court that the prosecution will cooperate in the proceedings. 4.

In view of the above, the petitioner is permitted to request the learned Sessions Court to expedite the proceedings. 5.

It is made clear that notice has not been issued to respondent No. 2/accused, and the learned Sessions Court is requested to consider the petitioner's request in accordance with law, upon notice to the aforesaid. 6.
