% 20.07.2016 The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, for quashing of the criminal complaint being CC No.1014/P/12 pending in the Court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi, on the ground that notice dated 18th August, 2012, issued under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, called upon the petitioner to pay double of the cheque amounts.

After hearing the counsel for the parties, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move before the Trial Court seeking discharge from the Trial Court on this score alone. Consequently, the present petition and application are disposed

of and the petitioner is at liberty to file the application before 5th August, 2016 which is the date fixed before the Trial Court on which notice shall be issued to the respondent and case shall be decided expeditiously.
