By way of present appeal, filed under Section 374 Cr.P.C., the appellant has assailed the judgment and order on sentence dated 26.07.2001 and 01.08.2001 respectively arising out of FIR Nos. 761/98 and 146/99 registered under Sections 392/397/34 IPC and Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act at P.S. Mandir Marg whereby he was convicted and sentenced to undergo RI for 7 years with fine of Rs.500/- for the offence punishable under Sections 392 read with Section 397 IPC. Appellant was further sentenced to undergo RI for 7 years with fine of Rs.500/- for the offence punishable under Sections 27 of the Arms Act. Both the sentences were directed to run concurrently.

On the last date of hearing, nominal roll of the appellant was requisitioned. Nominal roll dated 06.02.2024 has been placed on record as per which appellant has undergone the entire sentence and has also paid fine. Appellant, who is present in Court and has been identified by his counsel and the I.O., states that he does wish to press the impugned judgment of conviction on merits.

As the appellant has undergone the entire sentence and also paid the fine, the appeal has become infructuous and the same is disposed of accordingly. Bail bond cancelled and surety discharged. 5.
