By way of this application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the applicant seeks regular bail in connection with FIR No. 300/2021 dated 08.07.2021, registered at Police Station Karawal Nagar, District North-East, New Delhi, under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

At the very outset, Mr. Yudhvir Singh Chauhan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, states that the father of the deceased is yet to be examined.

counsel for the applicant, does not press the application at this stage, without prejudice to the applicant's right to move the Sessions Court at the appropriate stage. Mr. Edward, however, seeks an order to expedite the recording of the evidence of the father of the deceased before the learned Sessions Court. The learned Sessions Court is requested to consider such a request sympathetically, having regard to its own docket and the age of the matters pending before it. 4.
The father of the deceased is present in Court and is represented by counsel. Learned counsel appearing on his behalf assures the Court that the said witness shall remain present on the next date of hearing, for which he has already been summoned, and that no unnecessary adjournment shall be sought on his behalf. Mr. Chauhan also assures the Court that the prosecution shall take all necessary steps to ensure his examination on the next date.

The application is disposed of in the above terms. 6.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
