In response to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner shall appear before the Assistant Commissioner, IGI Airport on 16.03.2026, through his authorised representative, for appraisement of the goods detained pursuant to the detention receipt dated 30th September, 2025. 2.

The respondent, in such an eventuality, shall pass an appropriate order in accordance with law having regard to not only the release of goods, but also duty payable in accordance with law.

Let the decision be communicated to the petitioner within a period of fortnight from the date of appearance.
