The present writ petition has been filed seeking demolition of the unauthorised construction of flats no. 1218, 1220, 1222, Sector-C, Pocket-1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070.

Status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent/MCD. 2.1.

However, the same is not on record.

A copy of the status report has been handed over in Court today and the same is taken on record.

In terms of the status report, the aforesaid properties have been booked for unauthorised construction and show-cause notices have been issued. Replies to the show-cause notices have been received and personal hearings have been granted by MCD.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent/MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law. 5.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the owner/occupier are kept open.
