CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 13.01.2017 Petitioners and respondent nos.2 to 7 are related to each other. It is submitted that respondent nos.2 to 7 and petitioners have settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of all the family members. Respondent nos.2 to 7 are present in Court and have been identified by SI Suresh Singh PS Sagar Pur. They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure and coercion.
They further submit that they are not willing to pursue the FIR any further.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the family members, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the
criminal proceedings pending.
Accordingly, FIR No.327/2016 under Sections 323/341/34 IPC registered at police station Sagar Pur, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
