This petition has been filed with the following prayers: "1. Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, quashing the impugned order dated 02.01 .2026 issued by the BSF IG (CONFD) FHQ BSF, whereby the proposal for grant of Non-Functional Selection Grade (NFSG) I Non-Functional Financial Upgradation (NFFU) to the Petitioners has been returned/denied on the erroneous premise that the BSF Air Wing Cadre does not possess Organized Group 'A' Service (OGAS) status;
11. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondents, MHA AND DG BSF to grant the benefit of Non-Functional Selection Grade (NFSG) and Nonfunctional financial upgradation NFFU to the Petitioners, being Group 'A' officers forming part of an Organized Group 'A' Service, in terms of the DOPT Office Memorandum dated 21.12.2022, and in the light of the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Learned counsel for the respondents who appears on advance notice states that appropriate shall be for the respondents to treat this writ petition as a representation and decide the same by a reasoned and a detailed order. 3.
Mr. Abhay Kumar Bhargava, learned counsel for the petitioners is agreeable to the submission made by the counsel for the respondents. 4.
Accordingly, we direct the respondents shall treat this petition as a representation keeping in view the grounds taken and the documents attached with the petition and decide the same with a reasoned and detailed order within twelve weeks from date of receipt of this order. 5.
If the petitioners are aggrieved by any order which is directed to be passed by the respondents, liberty shall be with the petitioners to seek such remedy as available in law.

The petition is disposed of.
