The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no.2/ BSES Rajdhani Power Limited to restore the electricity connection at Flat no. B-102, Sanghamitra Co-Operative Group Housing Society Ltd., Plot No.20, Sector-4, Dwarka, Delhi (hereinafter 'subject property'), which is in possession of the petitioner. 2.

A further direction is sought that the respondent no.2 should not insist for a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the respondent no.3/ Sanghamitra Co-operative Group Housing Society Ltd. for restoring the electricity connection in the subject property. 3.

submits that the earlier electricity connection was provisionally issued in the name of Mr. Rakesh Kumar. However, the same was not energized due to the resistance offered at the subject property. 4.

He further submits that in terms of the current Regulations, no NOC is required from the respondent no.3. Therefore, there is no impediment for the petitioner to apply for a fresh electricity connection in his name. 5.

In view of the above, the present petition, along with all pending applications, stands disposed of while directing the petitioner to apply for an electricity connection in his name.

The said application shall be processed by the respondent no.2 in accordance with the applicable Rules and Regulations in an expeditious manner and without insisting for an NOC from the respondent no.3.
