The present petition has been listed upon urgent mentioning by the orders of Hon'ble the Chief Justice.

Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of Warrants of Distress I & II dated 27th December, 2018 & 29th December, 2018 respectively, both issued by the respondent No.1. 3.
Ms.Pushkarna, learned counsel for respondent no.1 states on instructions from Mr.Rakesh Kumar, Property Tax Inspector, who is
present in Court, that keeping in view the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case and the admitted position that no notice was given to the petitioners before issuing the impugned warrants as also the fact that the petitioner's appeal HTA No.1/MTT/2019 is pending adjudication before the Municipal Taxation Tribunal, the respondents will not take any coercive action against the petitioners in furtherance of the impugned Warrants during the pendency of the petitioner's aforesaid appeal.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel, learned senior counsel for the petitioners does not press the present petition. He, however, seeks liberty to approach the Court for the same relief in case the need so arises at a subsequent stage. 5.
The petition and applications are dismissed as not pressed with liberty as prayed for.
