The prayer made in this petition is that a direction be issued to the concerned respondents to demolish certain unauthorised constructions on property bearing no. 810, Gali Ahmad Shah, Haveli Azam Kha, Chitli Kabar, Chandani Mehal, Daryaganj, Delhi-110006. 3.

Learned counsel representing the respondent/Municipal Corporation of Delhi (hereinafter referred to as the 'MCD') has stated that the subject property has already been booked under the relevant provisions of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 and proceedings have been initiated against the occupant/owner.

In view of the aforesaid statement, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the competent authority of the respondent/MCD to conclude the said proceedings and take appropriate decision thereon. 5.

Once the proceedings are complete, the action, if any, which may be warranted in law shall also be ensured by the respondent/MCD. 6.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
