The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent/MCD to accept the petitioners' application for sanction of building plan in the name of the petitioners, for the Front Portion/ Front Block of Property No.C-14, Rajouri Garden New Delhi-110027 (hereinafter the 'subject property').

Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in terms of the current policy dated 6th January, 2026 of the MCD, there is no bar in accepting application for sanction plan, in terms of a part/portion of the W.P.(C) 2422/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/MCD, on advance notice, confirms that in terms of the current policy, 'no-objection' is not required from all owners of the property.

It is further submitted by counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/ MCD that the petitioner can apply for sanction of building plans online. In the event there is any difficulty, the petitioner may approach the Zonal Office or to the Headquarters, where there are help desks in place for the said purpose.

The present petition along with all pending application(s) stands disposed of, while giving liberty to the petitioner to apply for the sanction plan in the manner as noted above.

Needless to state that the application for sanction plan shall be considered by the respondent/MCD in accordance with law.
