1. This is an appeal filed by the State against the order dated 16th October 2000 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) in SC No. 57/92 arising out of FIR No. 6/1991, P.S. Paschim Vihar, whereby after convicting the three Respondents Vinod Kumar (A-1), Kamal (A-2) and Rajender Kumar (A-3) for the offences under Sections 307/353/186/ 397/411/34 IPC by order 11th October 2000, the learned ASJ ordered them to be released on probation for good conduct for a period of one year on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- each with one surety in the like amount. A-1 was additionally convicted under Section 27 of the Arms Act. Crl.A. 992/2001

2. The State by this appeal seeks enhancement of the sentence.

3. Considering that it is now more than 17 years since the impugned order on sentence was passed, and no adverse report qua any of the Respondents has been received during this period, the Court is not inclined at this stage to interfere with the impugned order on sentence dated 16th October 2000 passed by the learned ASJ.

4. The appeal is accordingly dismissed.
