The present petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking directions to the learned ADJ-04, South East District, Saket Courts, New Delhi (in short „Trial Court‟) to expedite trial of probate case bearing no. PC 20/2018 titled "Archana Singh vs State and Ors."

endeavour to decide the same within a period of six months, the proceedings before the learned Trial Court are still at the stage of cross examination of the petitioner.

It is submitted that the petitioner is 84 years old and despite that the direction of this Court has not been adhered to. 6.

Issue notice.

Learned counsels for the respondents appearing on advance notice accept notice and submit that they have no objection in case the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the disposal of the probate petition. 8.

In view of the submissions made and the fact that despite directions of this Court vide order dated 04.10.2021, the learned Trial Court has not concluded the probate petition, the learned Trial Court is directed to conduct the trial in a time framed manner by making a schedule of hearing for recording of evidence of both the parties as well as for hearing the arguments.

The learned Trial Court is further directed to dispose of the probate petition expeditiously within a period of four months. 10.
