By order dated 17th February 2025, this Court stated in no uncertain terms that it would not accept any further extension on any ground whatsoever. For compliance with the orders of this Court, respondent was directed to make a payment of Rs. 7 Lacs within a period of four weeks. 2.

Counsel for respondent states that the cheques are ready and that they are depositing the same before the Registrar General of this Court, the same shall be retained in an interest-bearing fixed deposit. 3.

Counsel for petitioner, however, points out to a previous order of the Division Bench of 10th May 2024 stating as under in paragraph 9 which is extracted as under:

"9. The appellant, without prejudice to its rights and contentions, is directed to pay the enhanced compensation, as directed by the learned Single Judge, to the respondent within six weeks."

It seems that respondent is trying their level best not to comply with the orders of this Court, despite the previous orders of the Division Bench and this Court.

However, considering the submissions made, list on 8th April 2025 for further directions.
