This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "a. Issue an appropriate writ, order, or direction in the nature of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

b. Examine and decide the correctness/incorrectness of the Final Answer Key in respect of Question No. 63 (ID No. 4324498526) and Question No. 111 (ID No. 4324498530) of the UGC-NET December 2025 Examination (History), in The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

c. In the alternative, constitute an expert body/committee to examine and submit a report on the correctness/incorrectness of the answers to the aforesaid questions;

d. Direct the Respondents to rectify the Final Answer Key and award marks to the Petitioner in respect of the aforesaid questions in terms of the decision of this Hon'ble Court; e. Direct the Respondents to revise and re-declare the Petitioner's result on the basis of the corrected answer key and declare her eligible for appointment as Assistant Professor upon such correction;..."

Dr. Pathak, learned counsel for the petitioner states, that the petitioner was appearing for the UGC-NET 2025 exam in the subject of History bearing Code No. '06'.

Dr. Pathak, learned counsel further states that 2 questions i.e., Question Nos. 63, and 111 bearing Question ID (s) numbers as 4324498526 and 4324498530 have wrongly been marked and draws my attention to the supporting documents.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Khanna, learned standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No.1.

Mr.

Khanna, learned standing counsel, states that an Expert Committee has already been constituted, which is looking into the challenges raised in the present subject.

For the said reasons, the Expert Committee formed by the respondent No.1 will treat the present petition as a representation, will consider The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

the objections of the petitioner and pass a speaking order expeditiously and in any case not later than 4 weeks from today. 8.

Needless to add that the petitioner will be at liberty to take appropriate action thereafter.
