Further to the order dated 20.02.2026, the Investigating Officer has submitted a status report dated 23.02.2026, which has been handed up in Court, and is taken on record.

The medical documents furnished alongwith the present application have been duly verified, and the applicant's treating doctors have responded to the questionnaires issued by the Investigating Officer. It appears therefrom that the applicant continues to suffer from multiple medical conditions.

Dr. Alok Aggarwal of Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, has opined that the applicant's condition was "not well but not grave." While no surgical intervention is presently advised, the applicant is stated to be on multiple medications and to require regular medical management. 4.

Multi Specialty Hospital, broadly corroborates this assessment and further indicates that the applicant requires the constant assistance of an attendant. However, the report furnished by Dr. Alok Aggarwal has expressed a differing view, to that extent.

Additionally, Mr. Arjun Singh, learned counsel for the applicant, has handed over copies of the medical examination records and medical reports issued by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where the applicant was examined in terms of the order dated 20.02.2026. It appears therefrom that the process of medical investigation and diagnosis is still ongoing. Copies of the said documents have also been furnished to the Investigating Officer.

In view of the foregoing medical documents, the interim bail granted to the applicant vide order dated 15.01.2026 in BAIL APPLN. 4344/2025 is extended till 15.03.2026, on the same terms and conditions as stipulated in paragraph 11 of the order dated 15.01.2026. 7.
Mr. Arjun Singh, learned counsel for the applicant, reiterates the applicant's request for permission to travel to Chennai to attend his son's wedding, scheduled for 23.03.2026. This Court has already observed in the order dated 20.02.2026, that the said request appears, prima facie, to be inconsistent with the medical grounds relied upon by the applicant in support of his application for interim bail.

In the status report, it is noted that the Investigating Officer also sought the opinion of the treating doctors regarding the applicant's ability to undertake long travel. Dr. Alok Aggarwal has opined that the applicant should avoid long and strenuous travel, as the same may entail a risk to his health. travel with appropriate medical precautions and in the company of a family member.

Having considered the medical reports and the submissions made, I am of the clear view that the applicant's request for permission to travel to Chennai to attend his son's wedding is medically contraindicated and, in any event, wholly inconsistent with the medical grounds urged by him in support of his application for interim bail. 10.
It is, therefore, clarified that the applicant is required to remain within the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in terms of paragraph 11(i) of the order dated 15.01.2026.
