Fresh petition under Section 29-A(4) read with Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 2.

It is submitted that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted vide Order dated 17.09.2021 by this Court.

The proceedings commenced on 30.10.2021. Pleadings were completed on 16.08.2022. With the consent of the parties, the time was extended by six months which is scheduled to end on 14.02.2024. The evidence of the parties has already been completed and the matter has been fixed for final arguments. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by six months w.e.f 14.02.2024 till 14.08.2024.

In view of the submissions made, the mandate of the Tribunal is extended by six months till 14.08.2024.
