O R D E R

% 10.01.2019 The petitioner is aggrieved of inaction by the police apropos the investigations in case being FIR No. 0035/2018, dated 08.02.2018, registered under sections 420/406/506/120 B IPC at Police Station Hauz Khas, New Delhi.

It is the petitioner's case that though investigations have been transferred to the Economic Offences Wing in W.P.(CRL) No. 2008/2018; no worthwhile steps have been taken in the investigations. Mr. Lao, the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits upon instructions that as of 08.01.2019, the petitioner was called by the Assistant Commissioner of Police concerned and was interacted with

and another person concerned with the case (witness) has also been interacted with by the police on an earlier occasion. Let investigations be completed within a period of 12 weeks from today with due intimation to the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate concerned, every four weeks.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not press for any further reliefs at this stage.

The petition, alongwith pending application, stands disposed-off in terms of the above.
